About

I'm Sofie, and I source, authenticate, and photograph every piece in this shop myself, from Japan.

Aurelissi started because I kept noticing the same thing: genuinely well-made archive pieces — the kind with real construction, real materials, real history — getting overlooked in favor of whatever's newest. I wanted a shop that treated pre-loved luxury the way it deserves: described honestly, priced confidently, and never apologized for.

Every piece comes to me through established collectors, reputable auction houses, and vetted vintage markets — each of which authenticates items before they're sold on. I then inspect every piece again myself: construction, hardware, materials, and markings, checked against what's expected for that brand and era. I measure it, photograph its condition plainly — flaws included — and research its era and provenance where I can. If something isn't right, it doesn't get listed. If it has a mark or a flaw, I tell you where to find it in the photos, not after you've bought it.

This is a one-person operation, which means the person answering your questions is the same person who sourced and packed your order. If you're unsure about sizing, condition, or authenticity before you buy, message me — I'd rather answer a question than have you guess.
